Lucas Hoge has that rare ability to find common ground with just about anyone and draw them into his world, whether he’s singing for a captive audience, writing a song for a hit TV show, performing for troops overseas or sharing his love for the great outdoors with fellow sportsmen at a Cabela’s gathering. His current single “Dirty South” engages listeners with his warm, evocative vocals and a deep-south swampy feel in an anthem to celebrate the down-home country lifestyle.
Hoge’s journey has come a long way from his beginnings in Hubbell, Nebraska, a small town of only 44 people. The road to Nashville led him to opening for the legendary George Jones at the Ryman Auditorium, recording his upcoming project with noted producer Matt McClure, writing music for Animal Planet TV, GAC, HBO and Warner Bros.’ “Smallville;” along with partnering with Cabela’s, the world’s foremost outfitter of hunting, as the newest music brand ambassador, endorsing Hero Outdoor Products and performing overseas as part of the Wrangler National Patriot Tour for nine years. Hoge’s dynamic talent is centered by his core passion, the music. He celebrates the success of his previous single “Boom Boom” with a first Top 100 Billboard Mediabase and Top 50 Billboard Indicator single and a music video that hit #1 seven times on the CMT Music 21-Pack Countdown. With a restless creative spirit, abundance of Midwestern charm and a work ethic that won’t let him slow down, it looks like the best is yet to come.
